I used to be able to do this with a command line argument when I used Netscape. I was wondering if there is a way to open the Outlook Express new message dialog directly. I know it can be done via scripting, but I don't know any. Is there another, or easier way?

The following trick works great in Outlook, I don't if it works in Express:
1. Open a new message in Outlook, leave it blank
2. Save your message (File menu) and close it
3. Go to your Draft folder, your blank message is there
4. Drag and drop it anywhere you want (your desktop for example)
5. Double-click on the new created file, it will open a new message. Send it and the blank file will still be there for use next time!

Good luck!

Create a new shortcut on your desktop which includes the following: "mailto:" without actually typing the quotation marks. It's fast, simple, effective.
